Doctor Who Experience

Today I went to the Doctor Who Experience! V. Cool. They had exhibits of all the doctors, including my boyfriend, David Tennant. Got my picture with the Tardis & inside the Tardis, so it was a good trip. Did a bit more shopping - didn't do too much else as my tummy was bothering me. It's not used to all the fried food & sweets it's been getting this week.

Tomorrow is my last day. Can't believe it's almost over. I don't want to leave. Ever! My tummy better cooperate tomorrow - I have things to do!

back to London

On the train waiting to depart to head back to London. Edinbrgh was nice, but London is Where It's At. And by It, I mean David Tennant. Haaaaa. I slay me. Tomorrow mom & Jane are taking a day trip to Cardiff and I'm heading to the Doctor Who Experience. Allons-y! Probably won't write more today as we get back late after today's journey. I don't ever want to leave London! Here tomorrow & Sunday and then it's over......

I'm in Edinburgh!

I'm in Edinburgh...blah, blah, blah...I got David Tennant's autograph last night! Got to the theatre way before the show finished, and got against the barrier! I posted a couple pics to THE Facebook!

Anyhoodle, we got up today at the crack of dawn & took the 7:30 a.m. Train to Edinburgh.what a cool city. Old city is all windy streets and ancient buildings. It's just a wonderful atmosphere, although Mummy is not enjoying the hills in any way, shape, or form. We toured the castle & took a bus tour because 1. we don't have much time, and 2. We are pooped. I had to wake mom up because she was falling asleep at 7:00 pm. Lol.

Tomorrow afternoon back to London. Still need to get to the Doctor Who Experience and the Churchill museum.

Also want to get Jocelyn something at TOPSHOP!

Peace.

Day 5..British Museum, Library, Picadilly Circus, & Trafalgar Square

So I get to the Doctor Who Experience & they weren't open because they were changing out the exhibits. Why does London hate me? Instead of waiting two hours, I decide to go back on Saturday. Tubed up to the British Museum/British Library instead. Had a good time of it. The British Library had an entire science fiction exhibit! It's like they knew I was coming. Ha!

After that, I made my way over to Piccadilly Circus, where I lasted about ten minutes. Went into two stores, and figured I could find cheesy souvenirs anywhere, and with fewer people, so I hoofed it out of there down to Trafalgar Square, because I figured I could check it off the list. It's been checked. Walked past the National Portrait Gallery and pondered going in, but I'd had more than enough museum for one day.

Going to dinner a little later and then. Off to try again for my David Tennant autograph. I will not admit defeat!!

Getting up at the crack of dawn to head to Edinburgh. I hope we make the train!

Westminster Abbey and DAVID TENNANT

Westminster Abbey is probably the coolest place I've been since, well, ever. Ornate, immense, and amazing. Plus, I looked down while in poets corner and I was totally standing on what was left of Charles Dickens. Then Lord Byron. I also made a point to walk over and tread atop Charles Darwin. In the gift shop, I found a royal wedding postcard that included Prince Harry. I bought it. The quest continues...

I also wandered around the area & scoped out Big Ben (not the quarterback that I hate - the clock tower) and Parliament, before strolling down to the park & Buckingham Palace. The queens flag was flapping in the breeze, so I guess the old bag was home. Ha.

Last night: DAVID TENNANT in Much Ado About Nothing! What a HAM! Loved it. Seriously, he is just too much (sorry, Harry! I still love you best!). I scurried over to the stage door but wasn't able to get the autograph. Stupid crowd of people holding me back! I'm going back for another try, and will keep trying until I have it in my grubby fingers!

That is all for now. No major plans for the day. Possibly the British Museum, or...The Doctor Who Experience. Both contain important historical artifacts.

Peace.

Allons-y!!

Saint Paul's, The Tower of London, & steps steps, steps

This morning we went to Saint Pauls's Cathedral. Absolutely gorgeous. No pics from inside - photography isn't permitted. What I'll probably remember most are the dead guys (The Duke of Wellington, Horatio Nelson...etc.), and the 528 steps to the top of the dome. The view was stunning. My legs, however, were less impressed. Lol. I'm a tad sore.

After St. Paul's we went over to the Tower & took a tour by a hilarious Beefeater (no, he has no idea why they're called that) and then walked many more staircases through the towers. Whatbim taking from the 3 1/2 hrs spent there: dude, so much armor. And also: Henry VIII was a total douche.

I'm beyond exhausted tonight. I may actually sleep past 7:00 tomorrow! So much left to see! I hope inhave enough time. There's a Harry Potter walking tour!,

Peace. Zzzzzzzzzzz

TOPSHOP & Oxford Circus

Today was awesome! Mom & Jane had a fan club event so I spent the day wandering around Oxford Circus. One word. Two syllables: TOPSHOP. Finally, I have been son lucky as to follow in the footsteps of Becky, of Shopaholic fame.

Saw The Wizard of Oz musical later in the day & watched my mother with a group of ladies acting like teenagers at a Justin Bieber concert. Lol.

Tomorrow: Tower of London & St. Paul's.

Still have the eyes peeled for my Ginger Prince.

Also: there is a "Doctor Who Experience." Will have to check it out. A real live fake Tardis!!! Heaven.

Willmupload some pics to THE Facebook. Still can't get them to the blog from the frakking iPad.

Blimey!
